ok i was quite sian of putting stuff on the tag board so here's an FAQ.
Q: whats the chalet like?A: you'll definitely love it, its a 2 level bungalow by the beach, big enuf to fit the entire class! it has 2 bedrooms (one for guys one for gers tho i suspect no one would sleep) and 2 toilets one upstairs one downstairs, it has a dry kitchen ( no stove and no cooking allowed) equipped with microwave oven and fridge. the tv can be connected to xbox or ps2 and has cable! there is a large dining area and a large living room.. and got enuf space for mahjong! the chalet is equipped with a mahjong table and mahjong set! of course also got dining table and sofa la! there is also a personal bbq area per chalet (bbq rental is free) as well as a bench outside for putting the food! the entire place has a very nice decor and im sure u guys would love it! trust me! i visit the place every year!
Q: does it have enuf sleeping space?A: as i said i dun tink anybody would be sleeping.. but in any case there are 2 bedrooms.. people can squeeze.. if all else fails, there are mattresses and pillows.. people can also sleep on the sofa? dun worry its sleepable..
Q: wad kinda amenities are there?A: ok there is a golf course, swimming pool, arcade, multi purpose court that can be used as a basketball court or street court, a field to kick ball, bike rental services, cathay bowling, pool, changi sea sports club is just outside the chalet compound! and its along the beach so loads of fun!
Q: what if it rains?A: mahjong? tv? card games? ps2 and xboxes provided people bring la? board games.. im sure u guys would bring!
Q: oh sounds interesting! how do i get there?
A: check in is at 2-4pm everydae and check out is from 8-10am, in any case, if ure there before 2 i suggest wait at ryan's hse or smth, there is a shuttle service to the chalet from tanah merah mrt
Q: since i cant get there by bus it should be quite ulu.. den in any case the food how??A: ok i was thinking bbq for 2 nites and catering (pack lunch) for one lunch. we would prepare stuff like bread and snacks and drinks everything also laa.. it wouldnt be too expensive as i would get the catering from my aunt, her bbq service means we would only need to pae for the food at cost price, all the marinating and everything she would most prolly give me for free. and she's a great cook so trust her.. i mean! just look at my size and u would know why!
Q: ok so what would be the estimate price?A: i would predict about 50 per person. 20 bucks at max for 2 nites chalet ( i calculated at super peak prices and that everyone would go), most prolly it wouldnt be super peak if we go for the first 2 dates so it would be cheaper! food wise also 20 bucks sae bout 3 bucks for pack lunch? and about 15 bucks for 2 nites worth bbq but most prolly would be cheaper.. and drinks and all that like bread and snacks for breakfast would would be about 2 bucks per person.. so it would be about 20 bucks per person also? lastly u have about 10 bucks for entertainment and sorts la! swimming pool dunnid pae.. rental of multi purpose court minimal price. but i tink the pool and the bowling is quite costly, den u might also want rent bike? so here and there bout 10 bucks ba depending on what u wan2 do! so altogether bout 50.. so prepare bout 50 thereabout just in case ok!
Q: and what do i need to bring?A: yourself! clothes and the necessary toiletries and stuff! board games! cards! ps2 and xbox plus games and controller if u have! and of course masking tape or electric duct tape depending on how evil u are, muscle spray, markers and the likes!
