former st johnner celestine tan from 06a11 wins the most valuable athelete award for round 1 of the inter CT badminton tournament as she leads the class to victory 3-1 over rival class whose class bench is just opposite theirs, the class of 06S6c.
having gone down 0-1 after the first match in which tracker lawrence chan heroically went down fighting 11-4 in the first boys singles match to close rugger and venturer jia wei. the resilience of 06a11 overpowered 06S6c in the next three matches in which the boys double of ryan and tay took 11-7 and MVA celestine tan took the singles match 11-5 and then together with lawrence chan of boys singles fame, took the game for 06a11 with an 11-8 win in the mixed doubles.
congrats to 06A11 for their fighting spirit as well as all the people who were down to support them. namely the limping pris, tim as well as the lively wernon.
